Thank you all for your support of the Legacy of Literacy Endowment campaign at the 2019 Festival. We were so happy to meet new friends and donors at the Festival. Almost 65% of the donations came from first-time donors. Welcome aboard and thank you for supporting this initiative.
We surpassed our goal of raising $15,000 by the end of the Festival!
The Legacy of Literacy Endowment Campaign is now over $792,000 in donations and pledges, almost 80% of our goal! If you haven’t already donated or you would like to make an additional donation, you still have time. We will submit the 2019 matching fund application to the Department of Canadian Heritage at the end of November. And for every $100 donation, your name will be entered into the draw for the original artwork by Carol La Fave. The donation deadline and draw date is Monday, November 25.
