Waubgeshig Rice is an author and journalist from Wasauksing First Nation.
He’s written four books, most notably the Number 1 bestselling novels Moon of the Crusted Snow and Moon of the Turning Leaves.
A graduate of journalism at Toronto Metropolitan University, Rice spent most of his career with the CBC as a video journalist and radio host. He left CBC in 2020 to focus on writing.
Rice appreciates loud music and the four seasons. He lives in Sudbury with his wife and three sons.
