Naomi Klein’s new book, Doppelganger, deals with issues of identity in a polarized and polarizing society. She will be in conversation with This is VANCOLOUR host Mo Amir.
Naomi Klein is an award-winning journalist, columnist, and the international bestselling author of nine books published in over 35 languages including No Logo, The Shock Doctrine, This Changes Everything, No Is Not Enough, On Fire, and Doppelganger: A Trip into the Mirror World. Her writing has appeared in leading publications around the world, and she is a columnist for The Guardian. She is the honorary professor of Media and Climate at Rutgers University, an Associate Professor in Geography at University of British Columbia and the founding co-director of UBC’s Centre for Climate Justice.
Mo Amir is the creator and host of This is VANCOLOUR, British Columbia’s bonafide culture and politics TV talk show, airing Thursday nights at 9pm on CHEK. Over This is VANCOLOUR‘s continued run from podcast to TV show, Mo has interviewed several BC Premiers and other notable cabinet ministers, party leaders and mayors, in addition to entertainers like Ivan Decker, Jennifer Robertson, and Seabus Memes; professional athletes like Trevor Linden and Chelsea Green; and a whole array of notable BC personalities from Tamara Taggart to Gabor Mate.
